As I already have abit of a tummy, im not really showing. Which I know differs for alot of ppl, but all the ppl who are due around the same time as me are showing!

My morning sickness has eased, but not all gone.
    I just dont feel pregnant
Recently at night I have felt a few flutters and wonder if it could be the baby!
I am now hanging out for my 19/20 wk scan on 2nd Jan to make sure bubs is still there!!!

I know Im just being abit silly... but I want to feel pregnant! LOL (yes, i know i will regret this come third trimester, hehe)

Sounds like you're having a fairly easy time of it - save up some rest now, you won't be getting much in 169 days!!

Hun this is my 3rd, I started showing very early and I am feeling flutters, But I dont feel pg either. My belly has softened and shunk a bit in the last few days, maybe I am eating better? But I still dont feel pg as much as I did a few weeks ago. If you have not bled and are not getting lots of cramps, then you most definitely are still pg.

Hey due date buddy! Totally know what you mean. I have had a little 'gut' for a few weeks but today was the first time I have been told I 'look pregnant'. Apart from that I have been feeling so utterly normal that I start to question myself. Sometimes I lie really still and mentally 'listen' in to my belly to see if I can sense something or feel movement but anything that I think I do feel is not really clear or obvious and I end up thinking 'it could just be gas'!

Our time will come my friend... bring on the 20 wk scan!

Im 19 weeks tomorrow with my 1st and still hardly showing...family and friends can tell im pg only bcaus they knew what I looked like before, strangers always give me strange looks when I tell them im 19 weeks! And only in the last week have I been sure the kicks are baby and not gas..hehe! But its often I forget there's a little person in there so don't be worried!! I've been told by many friends to enjoy this time while we can still tie our own shoes!

24w pg and I was told I was still in the "fat" stage - ie no bump!

6-7m pg and people asked why I was getting ready to leave work, had I been made redundant?

30w pg I was told off by a midwife for not being big enough!

9m 1w pg and I was FINALLY asked by a stranger when the baby was coming! I stupidly said "last weekend" and the woman flipped, asking me to leave the shop.

The plus sides were I saved a fortune on maternity clothes and looked fantastic. The down sides were I didn't get any of the special pregnancy treatment!

I think it's normal to not have a huge bump - and it is normal to have one. Whichever one you have, someone will tell you this is a problem. Just don't try to do a sit-up type leap off the bed at 8m pg because you're still quite trim. That isn't comfortable at all.

Mrs BB, I am only a week less than you and I still dont feel or look pregnant either! I have put on about 5 kilos, mostly in my boobs I think!, but if you didnt know me you wouldn't know that anything has changed. I worry sometimes too, but I'm assured that this is normal, in fact its great and we really shouldn't be complaining! I have my next scan on the 5th Jan - can' wait for that. It'll just really help confirm that there is a little critter in there after all!

    Best of luck

Mrs BB.... I completely feel the same. ALthough I am probably just really stupid, because I am well adn truly showing (even being a big person... I have ballooned) and I throw up daily.... but still my brain doesn't like to link those occurances to a baby.
    Stupid brain.
I'm glad I'm not the only one not feeling very pregnant.
I am going to ask my middies for a doppler scan this thursday just so I can hear that there really is a baby in there.... I hate not having had any scans since 8 weeks

Here's to our morph scans in a few weeks!

Miss BB - I am so glad someone is feeling exactly the same as me!

I feel "full" in the belly, have a little baby belly but hardly as I am overweight, but don't feel pregnant in any way or very connected to 'it'. I've lost 4 kilos and am trying so hard to be healthy but it all feels like a bit of a bummer!

What annoys me about my body is fat (which is totally my fault!) so I just look like a tall, fat chick with a little extra round bit on the bottom half!

Bah! :-) Just want to look and feel pregnant!

    Sorry for hijacking you thread.

Oh yeah....I'm with you Naidla....I'm still puking every 2nd day or so. Am so used to it now. I was put on some medication to stop me vomiting and it sends me to sleep for 14 hours!!!

Blondedoctor...I agree with you too. I just graduated to a G cup and it feels like I have 2 annoying, sore, bouncy rocks attached to my chest! :-)

Hehehehe. Ladies I keep freaking out cause my bbs dont hurt all that much anymore. They are sore to touch but not aching constantly and they really haven't gotten any bigger than they did in the first few months of pregnancy.

Ah, to have the nice round bump of some women, but then again I've still got a few weeks before I should be having a bigger bump. I have a little pot belly, but my mum said she didn't show with her first child (me) till she was about 20w. It's so sad cause I want to look pregnant.

I'm sure we'll eventually get there.

    Here's to our

    Hi All,

I found that I didn't really start to grow a proper bump until I hit 20 weeks - and now at 25 weeks there is no mistaking I'm pregnant. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer depending on your body shape. I am reasonably tall, but a size 10 normally and I don't think that I looked pregnant at all before 20 weeks.

Hope you all get that lovely baby bump soon!

I'm currently 26 weeks and was just told by my boss that she thinks I only just now look really pregnant whereas before it could have been a fat day! Being as I'm normally a size 10 with a very flat stomach this was a little disconcerting!!

Also, my younger sister is 30 weeks pregnant now so I get compared to her ALL the time. Particularly since she has been much bigger the whole way through the pregnancy. It actually got to the point that my hubby told my mum that all is fine, baby is perfectly fine and healthy I just don't show as much!

And before my 20 week scan I was VERY anxious about it - hence the freak out I had when I finally arrive to have it and the midwife centre had mucked up my booking so they had nothing for me and had to squeeze me in 4 hours later. Since then they have managed to muck up 3 more of my appointments even when I've confirmed them!

So all of your reactions are completely normal!

I don't really feel pg either, but other times I feel as if I am 24 months pg, but I am only in the early stages of my 2nd trimester, Im 13 wees today. i dont think that I will show much as I am over weight ( my fault), but am watching what I am eating. When I was ppg with my first child, I was showing at 3 months, and I to didnt know what the little flutters were, but I was sure they were the first time the baby was moving.. Good luck with all your prgnancies, and as someone said earlier... rest up now cos you wont have time to later.
