a cross stitch that you frame when baby arrives - you pick a theme that goes with your nursery, and when baby is born, add name, DOB, weigh details if they fit...

i have found one that i'm working on at the moment - love it (just a bit too warm today to be able to have stuff sitting on me!

If you are walking distance to a local library, try hiring out some pregnancy books, magazines or videos.

Go to some websites ..e.g. Johnson and Johnson. And ask if they give out free samples as you are interested in their products. Some won't do it, but some will.
