    You can speak to your health nurse I suppose.

    I was never informed of any existing around here when I had my first child (which was only 2 years ago), so I've never bothered researching to be honest. I don't think they are as popular up here as they are down south for some reason.

    There's a new mum's course through Qld Health that goes for 6 weeks and mother's groups form from there. You get a brochure in the hospital from memory and I also got a brochure from the nurse at the chemist when I took DS to get weighed.

    thanks ladies, I'm going to book in my antenatal classes soon so I guess once I start attending them it will prob lead to it. I don't mind travelling to caboolture to attend one.

    I don't know about specific mother's groups but if you want someone to chat and share info/stories with I'm Chantelle - 25yrs old and 19wks pg with my first, living 5 mins from Caboolture...
