I also have this with this pregnancy and will have a scan at 34wks (probably depends on Ob or carers as to when they scan). My placenta at my 19wk scan was on the edge of my cervix. I have tried not to stress about it nothing can be done just have to hope and pray, but I had a really good labour with DS and hoping for the same this time.
My Ob explained it as if the placenta is vertical and attached at one side then as your uterus grows with the baby the placenta moves up and away from the cervix. If the placenta is attached diagonally across the cervix then it will remain covering the cervix throughout the pregnancy and will need a CS.
Please dont stress about it. It was of those things we have no control over. Last time I didn't feel DS move very often as the placenta was at the top on the front this bub I have felt everything from 16wks so that has to be a bonus. It's a mover and a groover this one lol.
