Well i had the 19 week scan today and all seems perfect as far as they can tell
I was very strong and i said i didn't want to know the sex so she didn't go there. I was glad she didn't ask me if i was sure or anything because i was soooo tempted!! But i couldn't help looking at the screen trying to make out what it could be!! She did get a view of the legs and i couldn't see any little extra bits... but she could've been too far away i suppose.
I'm still thinking most likely its another boy. Mainly because we BD'd on O day - does anyone know how accurate that theory is? I know it's not 100% but is it pretty sure to be a boy if BD on O day or after?
I was just thinking about you this morning (you were in my TTC 1-6 month thread). Someone was posting about a phantom pregnancy and I told them about you and your weird/wonderful TTC journey when you got your BFP.
Anyway, we conceived two days before "O" and both DH and I think we're having a girl so maybe there might be something in that theory. The reasoning they give for it makes sense I suppose (male sperm are faster swimmers but female sperm have the endurance to hang around for the egg to be released).
My ob also told me that there is no use studying scans for boy bits or girl bits as the genitals look the same to the untrained eye as the girl bits are quite enlarged until the birth and this could look like a boy bit.

regarding that theroy with DS we BD on O day so i gathered the theroy worked. With this bub i was trying to stay clear of O day but as it turns out i think we BD the night before O day and we are having another boy! So i think the theroy is pretty accurate for us.
Wow LG i have thought of you so many times and have been wondering how you have been. Cant believe how time has flown. You must keep in touch regularly.
Hi Nickers! Great to hear from you! I was hoping for a girl this time too and didn't realise I was Oing when we BD'd (waaaay later than when i should've O'd) so i guess it'll be 2 boys for me - completely outnumbered in my house Ah well!! What will be will be!
