    News about bub's lip

    Pretty Happy today! the waiting nearly killed me!

    Went to the specialist and he had a look at bub's mouth/lips etc and has 98% ruled out any abnormities (cleft lip etc). He said that some people just have big lips i guess just like noses, eyes etc. But i have to say that i am happy that this was picked up in the first place and was looked into- people have commented to me about how now a days we know too much? but i think it good to know and prepare your self (what's your thoughts?)

    Any way have come to the conclusion that pregnancy is all one big surprise that is not really in our controls so just relax and go with the ride and no matter what the outcome you get the best gift in the world!!!!!!

    That excellent news Jessi. Its so true what you have said. It is one big surprise out of our control. Which is so rare when we live in such a controlled world.

    Baby might have Shiloh lips - my god daughter has nice big juicy red shiloh lips and she is soo adorable! Im so happy that all is ok though

    Thanks for all the replies!

    It really was awesome knowing that i could post my thoughts and fears and know that i wouldn't be judged. Being my first pregnancy and not having anyone i know going thru pregnancy man oh man has this site been a god send!

    Hey Jesse,
    Just popped in to say hi and that my SIL had a bub with a cleft lip/palate. She didn't know it so when bub popped out with this strange anomoly, she was devistated. Needless to say bub is older now and all fixed up, she talks wonderfully and you can't even see the scar. It is something we will be checking for in case it runs in the family, but I am not too worried if it has one as I know that it will turn out ok.
