    Question Normal food aversion?

I'm just curious if what im experiencing is a normal food aversion or possibly something else going on.

So its been made very clear i can't eat bananas. Its DD's breakfast most days and most days she will only eat half so instead of waste i would usually finish it off for her. But recently ive noticed that maybe 15 mins later i develop a headache, if i already have one which these days is very common it gets worse and over the course of maybe an hour it gets worse and worse to the point of i am unable to stand without feeling my head is about to explode. I try different things to try ease the pain but eventually i start to feel nauseas and then i have to bolt. The vomiting is very severe basically i open my mouth and it just explodes out. I then spend 20 mins dry heaving and bringing up bile until i can no longer do anything.

The same goes for beef. Other meats i am fine, some make me a bit queasy and i might have a bit of a spew but nothing compared to what happens when i eat bananas or beef.

For obvious reasons i avoid them both, now.

i had the same every pregnancy.. So normal I say...

Every food that I reacted to I would just avoid for the rest of the pregnancy. It was the safer option really, and I avoided being sick too

    Weird.

I have other ones but the reaction isnt so severe i just i guess i REALLY can't eat bananas or beef. Its such a shame though as bananas are really cheap at the moment and they make an awesome on the go breaky

Same for me, including with bananas (and honey, garlic- even the smallest amount, and I forget what else). At least I think these are the only foods I shouldnt eat now, I'm not game to try. At least the list is shorter than it was!

I have it with coffee and chocolate.... I can't stand the smell of coffee (I am a coffeeholic and chocoholic) the smell makes me want to spew... and forget going down the chocolate isle at the supermarket... Oh it makes me so ill!!!!! However I can still eat some dark chocolate here and there...

but bananas... I have never heard of that one before... you poor thing!

Really strange. Sorry I can't help, but could it be more a texture thing? Altho I suppose.u are getting it down so im not really sure. Bananas were my pregnancy craving with ds so for me it was I couldn't get enough. It was due to a magnesium deficiency. Perhaps ur body has oversupply if a certain vitamin or mineral and so when u have something thats in bananas and beef ur body doesn't handle it?
