what is the urine samples for? My ob only started asking me to bring a urine sample for next appointment and I am 26weeks. I will be 29 weeks or so for the first urine sample.

They don't need first morning urine for what they're testing for - they're just using dipstick tests to check the glucose and protein in your urine. They just dip a test strip into it and read the result from the colourCan be done anytime of day.
