    Question off center bump?

although it's well covered in wobbly tummy, I have been poking around at my slowly forming bump, and it's definitely sitting on the left side of my mid-line. is that normal? Will it shift around depending on what side I've been laying on?

I have an OB appointment for tomorrow anyway - but I thought I'd quiz the wonderful ladies of the forum first.

    Thanks!

Could it be that bub is still growing and therefore has more room to move from one side or the other? I know I would often have to search for DS in there as he was a wriggler? Not sure if that helps?

Good luck at your OB appointment

I'd forgotten all about it until DH pointed it out the other day when he said 'oh, and you've got lopsided belly again with this one'.
Both times I've had more bump to the right of my belly button than the left. It wasn't an issue though.

I googled (yay for google), and found it's quite common for the baby to enjoying one side more than the other. I wasn't all that worried, but was kind of hoping I wasn't going to have an odd left hand buldge for the next 6 months!

the baby is a wriggler - if the US to date have been anything to go by. We'll see what side it wakes up on tomorrow.

    haha! It's straightened up now.

I confess - earlier I had been loafing on the couch (on my left side) watching telly because it's too hot to do anything here. Now that I've been up & walking around, doing washing, etc - the bump is back to the middle.

I found that when my bladder was full, my tummy used to actually look like it was pointing out to the right. From my estimations, baby still likes to lie to the right hand side because my bump is visibly more sticky outy on the right.
Very strange to look at sometimes!!

When I'm lying down on my back or slightly to the side I always find I have a harder round bump just to the left of my belly button. I have been able to visibly see it for the last couple of weeks and DH just goes straight to it for a goodnight pat now lol not sure what part of bub it is (head or butt) but it's there 9 times out of 10
