People saying how huge I am!

Hi everyone. I am currently 16weeks and 2 days. At work today the staff were commenting on the size of my bump saying I look just as big as a girl at work who is 2 months ahead in her pregnancy than me. Does anyone have any comments to say back. Im already feeling uncomfortable with my changing body and its just upsetting me! Is it normal to show at 16 weeks in your first pregnancy? I havent put on any weight yet just have a huge stomach!

    Congrats on your pregnancy.
I used to get the opposite, everyone would comment on how small I was, it was frustrating because I just wanted a belly to show off.
Maybe when they say to you about how big you are say I know isnt is amazing and wonderful. Dont let them bother you. You are creating a miracle in there so just enjoy it.
Sorry i cant think of anything more creative.

I am HUGE - and I'm not exagerating either. When I was about 24 weeks I met a woman who was 38 weeks and I was bigger than her! Admittedly she was a bit small but it made me realise how big my belly is. I get those comments all the time and now I just say: 'I have a big DH (6'2), DD was big (9lb4), I'm small (5'3) and the baby is all out the front so of course I am huge!' I have also put on a bit of weight  (15kg so far) but I'm not telling them that!

But take it as a compliment of the healthy happy baby that you are growing. I was also feeling a bit too big as well so I just had some professional photos taken of my belly - I'm so proud of the way it looks I could almost burst! It has really helped me get in touch with how my body looks and to be proud of how big it is.

oh i know how you feel, with all three of my Bubs i was constantly being asked if i was carrying twins and bets where on that i was.

I just had to deal with the fact that when i am pregnant i carry alot of fluid. My babies have not been what i would call big 7lb ers. Yet i was massive. Hun we are all different and all carry bubs differently. Try to just enjoy your growing bump and pregnancy. Just tell the oh so annoying people that you noticed they seemed to have put on a bit of weight lately too........ that will shut them up. I just used to say yep i growing a super baby.
    Congratulations on your pregnancy

Anytime anyone said something about my bump I'd say "Well you better stand back. This thing could drop at any minute." That usually made them run
