mine were tender first few weeks of pregnancy but now at 18 and a half weeks im in agony
they are sore stinging and so so sore, mainly my right one it hurts ti even wear a bra, it looks like there is some sort of dried discharge? maybe on the end of the nipples but not much and there is nothing i ca see thats leaking just so sore
yep I sure did and as a matter of fact i still do and its killing me. I have the same crusty like discharge sorry tmi lol
Going into coles or woolies cold section is a killer, i literally feel like crying its soooo bad.
Have no idea how to fix it sorry.
goodluck
xx
Mine don't sound as bad as yours, but it's got me wondering how painful feeding will be! (And I'm really determined to bf).
In the car this morning I had the aircon on a bit too cold. The rest of me was freezing, but I could feel through my bra and dress that my nipples were hot! Sometimes you just have to laugh at pregnancy!
I duno if it will work but i guess its worth a shot..... mine have been sore too but not as sore as it seems some others are experiencing....
however... i was talking to my mum today and she said put cold cabbage leaves down your bra for a little bit. (random i know).... but she said when she had to stop breast feeding for medical reasons it was really painful and thats what she did to ease the pain.
yep - i did a similar thread some months ago... but for itchyness. My nipples were extremely sore and sensitve in the 1st and 2nd tri.
I have found moisturising them (i use homebrand vitamin e cream) is the answer.
Maybe the discharge is early colostrum? i could be wrong, not sure when you can start 'leaking' so to speak. whatever it is, it's probably your nipple's natural moisturiser doing its job.
not sure if that helps, but i hope so!
by the way, my nipples are much much better thesedays although still fairly sensitive at times. hopefully you will get some relief soon.
Yup mine have been painful since early trimester, can't shower facing the water I have to turn with my back towards the water otherwise ouchies. I have discharge too, to the point where some days I wonder if I should wear pads as I am having to wash my bras everyday otherwise they smell!! I also get the 'milk coming in twinge' in them as well have had this since about 17 weeks, very odd.
Hope you find some relief though! I have heard of cabbage leaves relieving mastitis pain, maybe it will help you too
