Pulled stomach muscle??

Hi...i was just wanting to ask everyone a question..i have the flu at the moment(im 21 weeks) and i find that sometimes(well most times)when im laying down and if i cough it feels like i have pulled a muscle in my stomach it can get really painful ..but im worried as i don't know if this has any effect on the bub or why it could be happening..it always seems to be only on my right side as well..don't know if that has anything to do with it..but if anyone else has the prob let me know...thanks guys

i dont know if the pain i am feeling is similar or not but when i am lying down and i roll over too fast or cough etc i get a burning pain in my lower left hand side which i have assumed is muscular also. i too have nasty cold and have a terrible cough so thought that i'd just strained myself. i'm sure it will have no harming effect on you or your bub but if you are worried please consult your Dr or ob. i have a Dr's appt this arvo and will mention my situation too esp as i had an emergency C-sect with no 1 and my pain is very close to my scar. take care hope your flu gets better.

hey,thank you for your reply..i had a c-section with my first also..i didnt even think about that mine is close to my scar too now that i think about it..but mine is on my right hand side..it feels exactly like when u pull a muscle in your leg or something..i will mention to my dr and see what they sa..let me know what ur doctor says!! thanks
