    Ripping pains

Now I know these are generally harmless (although damn painful!) but when should you seek a medical opinion?

Another quick question, do you think it hurts bub at all?

Hi damprye, I'm just trying to think of what pain you are referring to? It's been a couple of years since my last pg.

Is it the sort that feels like scratching down your belly? I attributed this to my skin stretching during my preg's. Or do you mean a feeling down below?

    How are you feeling now?

I think if you're concerned or if the pain is too much, then go to the doc, or your midwife. Particularly if anything else is out of the ordinary for you, if there's any bleeding or headaches or dizzyness ect.....which isn't usual for you. You know your body best. Plus it's better to go to the doc and have your mind put at ease, even if it's nothing, than to be a nervous wreck because you're worried something is wrong.

I'm not sure what kind of pain you're referring to? Where exactly is the pain?

I had stretching pains. Kind of like an electic shock in my belly. Lasted for a couple of seconds and then went. Random, but sometimes when getting out of bed. My GP said it was all normal. HTH

Sorry, net got disconnected for a few days.

The ripping pain is the one where if you move it feels like your uterus is being ripped apart. I have had this pain before but not as bad. Am going to try and book an appointment tomorrow anyway and ask the OB as I have had BH since then (not going away) and had some bleeding tonight so I need another antiD. What a pain in the bum, literally.
