Red face Second baby, showing already at 13 weeks...clothes starting not to fit..anyone else?

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else who's already had a baby and is expecting, or has had their second can relate to this. My clothes, jeans etc are starting to be on the tight side already at 13 weeks and my bump is noticable. Last pregnancy, you couldn't even tell I was pregnant until around 20 weeks.
It's just freaking me out a bit as last time I put on 25kgs! I was quite thin for my height (5'11") 65kgs and went up to 90.
This time, same starting weight and I've put on 1.5kgs already. I know it isn't twins. I'm very healthy and walk/do yoga/pilates. What else can I be doing? Or is this just the way it is?
Can anyone relate? Sorry for the rant...

I showed from very early on with this pregnancy. I think it is fairly common in subsequent pregnancy's to show earlier. I also felt kicks a lot earlier too, mind you that could be because I knew what I was feeling. Good luck with your pregnancy.

if i knew how to post a photo i would show you my belly at only 9 weeks, it is absolutely ridiculously large, i look about the same as when i was 4 months pregnant with my first... i've been in maternity jeans from the day i found out i was pregnant just for comfort but there is no way in hell i could wear regular jeans now....

someone tell me how to show a photo! i want you all to freak out when you see it!

thankyou for the quick replies, they're all very reassuring! I forgot to mention that I'm also breastfeeding my 19 month old daughter, so I probably need to eat extra calories, but I'm feeling good just mostly eating the same as ever- plenty of fresh fruit, veg, porridge, but I have increased my carbs- more pasta, wholegrain bread- just because that's what my body seems to want. I wonder how big I'll finish up this time....I found it so hard to shift the weight after- it took me a year to lose the final 6 kgs!
