    Semi permanent colour and treatment?

    Hello,
Last pregnancy I didn't colour my hair at all. I remember reading my doctors guidelines saying it is ok. Is it better just not to do it or is it safe? Are treatments like colouring? Would it make a difference if I avoided the roots? Thanks!

    Hey hun

My Aunty's a hairdresser and she had no qualms in colouring my hair when i was pregnant. Admittedly I was about 36 weeks from memory (earliest I could sit for 2 hours without throwing up). Not much help but im sure heaps of girls on here will be able to comment whether they did or didnt.

Don't stress, it is fine to dye your hair. Just make sure your in a well ventilated space. The fumes make me feel abit ill..

I've been getting mine coloured every 8 weeks since I got pregnant, no issues. My hairdresser gave birth in march and kept colouring her hair the whole time, so I figured I was in safe hands!

The biggest thing I think for some people is the fumes, so I generally ask for a seat close to the door, so I get more fresh air. If fumes etc bother you still, it's recommended you go on the quieter days/times at your hairdresser where possible.
