    can i suggest, if you're after particular pieces, NOT waiting too long - some of it takes up to 12 weeks to get in to the store... you can always layby what you want if it's available, but if it's not, you can get the stuff in on time. would hate for you to set your heart on something and not get it on time
    Really? I had better go buy the bassinet tomorrow then. I never thought of having to order that. I am ok with the wardrobe and cot since I have those in flat packs from Ikea. I will also ring the pram shop and make sure they have them in stock.

    I was really bad.... started DD's room when i was about 36-37 weeks, but we were moving house so I waited til we moved thats why it was so late.
    DS I started about 35-36 weeks? LOL We had almost everything, it just wasn't set up until the last weeks (I had him at 39 weeks)
    Theres nothing wrong with starting early, its so exciting to see the room coming together, you can sit in there & imagine when your little one will be asleep in the bassinette/cot etc, I found it really relaxing... well for the few weeks I had it before my children arrived haha
