Question Should I push the panic button?

Ok, I'm feeling really strange. When I move or get up, or sometimes even when lying down still I have this throbbing sensation through my body. I can feel my pulse in my FEET. I feel it in my butt..... legs...... all over. Is this something I should worry about? Could it be related to high bp? I had a high reading a few days ago and am getting a bit concerned with this strange feeling as well. Other than this I feel totally fine, not stressed out or anything like that.

I also occasionally feel like my heart is pounding. Nothing severe, just.... like it's beating a bit harder than normal.

    What do I do?

I have no idea, but I'd go get checked out anyway.

I would ring the the Hospital or MW who you are seeing and talk to them on the phone. I would think they would want to see just in case with those symptoms.

I'm not oficially booked in with any hospital yet, and I don't have a private midwife. Just my gp. That just adds to the confusion!

Umm... can you ring the nearest hospital and talk to one of the triage nurses and see whether they think its worth coming into emergency?

When I was pregnant I could always feel my pulse all over my body. Pulsating in my ears etc

I was told it's totally normal
Your baby must have a strong heartbeat

Ring your GP, if they have closed for the day, they would have and after hours number to ring or a Hospital number for you to ring.
Pretty sure it's nothing to panic about, just worth having a chat to someone about your symptons over the phone. Also let them know you had a high blood pressure reading a couple of days ago too when you are talking them.
