After having constant thrush for 6+ months and trying EVERYTHING, I took a Syringe, some natural yoghurt (jalna Organic to be precise)... and well... you get the idea! Haven't had it since *touch wood*

Also, get some inner health plus tabs.

The yogurt sounds like a good idea.
Also although the pharmast might tell you different you can use Canastin (even up there) during pregnancy. You only need to be more careful inserting it not to have it near the enterance of the cervix or in the cervix. If your familar with this then it wouldn't be a problem a syringe would probably be safer then the applicators that come with the packet. I think on there somewhere it says about the use of it in pregnancy. I know its one of the stock in our cupboard in maternity which we give out to pregnant patients and I told my Obby I used it 3.5years ago with my last baby and he said it was fine.
I had a really bad case after a month on ab's and found the pro-biotics really helped but I am not sure if you can take them during pregnancy. The yogurt on the other hand you would think would be very safe. And apparently eating it also is suppose to help.

Well...thrush is inside you...so applying it only on the outside aint doing nuthin !!!!
Get yourself some inner health plus...i got it 4 times last pregnancy and it was doing my head in. The canestan would work.....but 2 weeks later i would get the thrush back. I bought some inner health plus (levels out the good/bad bacteria in your gut...) and got some canestan pessaries....and never got it again. Seriously....it will be the best $25 you will have spent....

HI Im not sure if it matters how far along you are but my ob said i could use the pessary that goes "up there" the one that lasts 3 days??? It is aparrently an over the counter medication...I havent had to use it yet but its good to know. She told me on wed as I am on antibiotics and they make me get thrush for some reason....I hope you feel better soon.
