Does anyone have any tips on feeling bub move and kick? Have heard of drinking OJ .. laying on back...
Anything else?
I felt one lot of kicks earlier this week and want to feel little jellybean again lol
I'm about 5 days ahead of you and i feel the baby every now and then, little pops, waves and movements, more so in the last few days and mainly in the evenings or at night. My placenta is at the front, so i think that prevents me from feeling things early on (or so I read). A friend of mine who is about 28 weeks told me today that after eating a lot of sugar she felt her bub jumping around on a sugar high - lol! i know for me i rarely feel anything if i lay on my back, its mainly when i lay on my sides or when i am sitting that i feel it.
I had a posterior placenta which apparently makes feeling movements easier. DD started little bubble kicks at about 18 weeks, I found that a cold drink/ ice block would get her going. Good luck and enjoy those first beautiful kicks
Drink ice cold water.
DS12 was a quiet bub who slept alot, the mw at the AN clinic would make me drink ice cold water so they could feel him move [he was a big bub and I was quite a small chicky back then].
I have an anterior placenta too so mainly feel kicks low down and to the right. I get them predominantly during meetings when I am leaning forward. I guess that cramps up the little champ and he/she kicks around more, or I just feel it more in that position. It is not a guarantee, and like I said, happens during meetings when I don't really get to focus on it - I just have a little chuckle to myself
