Went to the beach yesterday & got knocked over by a wave!!

hey girls... not sure if i should be worried or not, but we went away for the longweekend and of course headed to the beach. weather was nice & sunny so thought id go wade in the water for a bit. i was about waist deep in the water when a wave suddenly hit fast & quick. i turned to run but got knocked over by the wave. went down front first then on the side. slightly skidded on the sand. would this have hurt my baby?? im just under 4 months preggers. im hoping that my belly is still fairly padded and baby wouldnt have felt that much of an impact?? when i got up another wave hit and knocked me from under my legs and i fell flat on my bum in the water. i was already close to the shore. i didnt feel any pain or anything. just caught me by surprise. ive got an OB appointment tomorrow morning so will be able to check on bub then. but was wondering if anyone can give some reassurance now, would be great

Bubs wouldn't have noticed at all - snuggled in nice and tight. Its ok mate

The water braking your fall a bit and the padding would have kept bubs safe. It's amazing the amount of protection they have in there!
