Our DS was due end of Feb but arrived 12 March and I found the most essential things for him were the Bonds gro-suits. He was a vomiter so he had about 7 or 8 as he would often need 2 or 3 changes a day. He was a littley too (6lb11) so the 0000 were even a little big. Lots of wraps and singlets too as the vomit and lovely explosive breast milk poos would often end up escaping!

One thing we learnt was don't buy anything that does up at the back no matter how cute it is, it's just too much hassle. The press studs between the lags are best and keep in mind your newborn will be sleeping lots so go for comfort. Those jeans might look adorable on the rack but bubs needs to be snuggled and comfy enough to sleep.
