I would buy mainly simple jumpsuits as you get so much stuff as gifts. Plus, in Sydney the nights can start to feel cool at the end of Feb, so having a few long jumpsuits would be very handy incase you get a cold snap. Bonds wondersuits would have to be the best value for money item too. If the weather stays hot into March, you really wont need to dress bubs in much at all - just a lightweight jumpsuit should be enough. For Alister, being due at the start of spring I only brought a handful of winter things to get through these first few weeks in a 000 - at that time of year if you buy too many 0000 you wnt get the wear out of them as they move to 000 pretty quick unless they are a really small bub. I have brought some summer stuff in 000, but mostly in 00 as by the time it gets really hot, he will be in them, so in theory the same would work for you, only you'll need warmer stuff kwim?
