What does round ligament pain feel like?

Today after laying down and stretching at the gym I felt really sharp pain low on my right side as I went to get up. It's inside my hip in the ovary type area and was really painful and is still tender to touch, but has eased off this afternoon. I still feel it if I am up and walking around. I have just been googling round ligament pain and it sounds like that could definitely be what it is and another BB lady has also said it sure sounds like that...just wondering what type of pain others have experienced, and how long it took to ease off? thanks for any feedback...it's always good to know what type of pains to expect.

p.s it also really hurts now when I sneeze

I had that from about 27 weeks. I had it right across both sides, and to make matters worse i had that plus BH so i was in a lot of pain. I had it so bad i couldn't walk properly and if i walked long distances i had to rest every few meters otherwise the pain was unbearable. Some days were worse than others.

Hurts like a *****. Feels like a pulling, almost tearing and searing pain down the sides of my belly, from about the ribs to the pubic bone. I get it when I walk too much, oh geez it hurts!

Exactly what pumpkinzulu said i have had it really bad this pregnancy if i get up to quick, roll over to quick, sneeze without leaning forward to protect my muscles or sometimes nothing i do sets it off it just happens and bl##dy hell does it hurt.
It can settle real quick but other times it has lasted ages.

I used to get RLP all the time with both pg's.

I'd get up then double over waying "Aaahhh crap I've popped an ovary"

thanks for your replies....the pain you have all described doesnt sound fun at all! But now as I am walking around bent over and holding my side I do feel more reassured it's a regular pregnancy thing and that nothing is wrong with the baby, which is what I always worry about.
