    Where did it go??

When I ws PG with DD my DH was trying to fight me off him, I had a huge sex drive and once a day did nothing at all but this time round we have DTD about 4 times in 23 weeks and ive had to force myself to do it.

DH isnt complaining but I still feel bad cause he has needs aswell.

Is this because im PG with a boy this time??

Lindsay - I don't know if gender has any affect whatsoever on your sex drive, I was the same as you in my first pregnancy - always wanted it!! from about 14 weeks on I was insatiable!!
This one, meh... can take it or leave it.. I think in nearly 24 weeks we have done it.. uh..... twice???! haha!!!!!
And I had a boy first.. as you know.. so maybe its a second pregnancy thing!??!

I don't think I lost my sex drive with DS, but I didn't exactly gain any either.
This time I've got pretty much none. I don't know what the go is either.
I feel bad for my DP but it's not like I can really help it.

    hehe

I had a girl and was insatiable until I was about 14 weeks...then...well, nothing! lol
We DTD 3 times after that...poor DF!!
So I dont think that gender has anything to do with sex drive...

I guess every pregnancy is different re the sex drive.. lol mines the same as with DS NIL!
But remember you also have a DD now that you didnt have last pregnancy. Not sure what she is like, but DS tires the hell out of me.

both pregnancys i have had no sex drive ... so i guess its normal as it can be seeing as we are all different , your body is probably very tired and so is your mind , looking after a toddler while pg is a huge task ... so i would relax ... talk to dh and see how he feels ...

I am the same, with my first pregnancy i couldn't get enough and i had a son, this time ( nearly 11 years on lol) i can take it or leave it, but i prefer not to sometimes it feels like a household chore, it's something you are trying to avoid but know it has to be done lol.

I think it's called tired, well more than tired, exhausted!!!!
When you are pregnant with the first you have so much more time to yourself, if you need a sleep you have one, if you need to get out of the house you go etc there are no worries about little ones sleeping through or being interruptted during. I think it declines more as you have less time, sometimes I don't even have time for myself let alone someone else!!!! Good when you have an understanding DH, and great you are prepared to reward him for his patience. Quality over quantity, I say.

LOL - This is something that my DH is confused about. All of his mates keep saying to him that he must be getting 'it' heaps and that their wives wouldn't leave them alone throughout the entire pregnancy... poor DH has been lucky to get a look in throughout the whole thing - I am so not interested!!

To be fair though we were pretty active before PG... DH is now starting to lament the onset of the real "drought" seeing as I only have 3 weeks to go! hee hee

BD- Thankyou for your reply, I did work anywhere from 8-14 hrs YEP 14 hr days when I was PG with DD 5 days a week so I was pretty tired back then aswell but I guess at least Igot days off etc this time I dont.

Michelle- Hehe yeah all DH's friends are saying the same to him, I think he just nods, smiles and lets them think he is getting al;ot of action

    Goodluck in the upcoming weeks!
