why does my body hate me?

Im 18 weeks in 2 days and i feel more sick than ever. the nausea went about 16 weeks but now its back and 100 times worse, still havent actually been sick but its there lingering, i can hardly move without retching. I thought maybe i was coming down with a bug or something but its coming and going.
I constantly have to be drinking lemonade or sucking mints because i feel like my mouth just tastes of grease, like i licked a deep fat fryer or something and that makes me feel sicker. Please can someone tell me it will go and i wont have this for another 4 months. Instead of increased appetite ive gone the other way, dont feel like eating at all mostly because anything i do eat then makes me burp all day and i dont want to taste it 600 times over! sorry classy i know

I'm sorry you are feeling sick again. With both this pg and the last, I didn't feel well until 20 weeks. Literally the 20 week mark - to the day, both times. It's awful, but some of us don't feel good until well after the first tri is gone. My poor mum had m/s for the whole 9 months I really hope for your sake you are more like me than her.

I have words of encouragment, even though they don't initially sound like encouragement- I has morning sickness until I was 6.5 months along- BUT, it did eventually get to the stage where it was much more "functional"- ie- I would get up feel rotten, vomit, then be ok-ish for the rest of the day. So even if it does continue for you, if can change to be a bit more bearable.

A LOT of my friends did not get rid of their m/s until about 20 weeks- so keep up hope! I feel for you, it so hard!

I really hope you are feeling better soon and i'm hoping i can offer some wisdom. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and my morning/all day sickness and vomitting is so bad it is preventing me from sleeping. Fell asleep this morning at 4.45 am. Ridiculous. This morning i went to my pharmacist-desperately needing help. He told me about b6,and believed i was probably deficient and told me that by increasing my b6 it would subdue if not stop my morning sickness. I explained i was already taking a pregnancy supplement but he showed me it only contained about 1mg of b6 wheras i needed to take a maximum of 100mg.Interesting. Anyway this is far from medical advice but please talk to your doctor/midwife or pharmacist. Today is the first day during the pregnancy i can actually say i feel great;no nausea!

Oh sweetheart your body does not hate you.

But you have my total sympathy, I've had to sit on the floor in the dark at work today and finish a total of 6 phone calls to run to the loo.
There is a benefit....it does have a finishing date.
