    Unhappy why oh why wont this cough go away.. :(

    i have the same cough that i had weeks ago
    i am seriously over it. i cough so much that in the morning and late at night i actually vomit sometimes i think i have pulled a muscle in my belly from coughing and i have also burst a vessel in my eye
    Im near tears all the time coz i just want this to stop.
    The doctor had me on 2 7day courses of amoxil and now he has given me a "Symbicort" inhaler. my cough is much better than it was at the begining but now when i cough its so flemy and thats what makes me sick i am going back to the doctors on monday...

    oh i am so sorry so whinge like this **cry**

    i guess i am really concerned about my baby?
    should i be worried??
    its just so frustrating

    I dont think it would affect your baby.
    amoxil is definitely safe to take too.

    You poor thing .

    I have had a blocked nose this ENTIRE pregnancy and a cold that keeps coming and going for over 6 weeks now. Pregnancy seems to make it harder for us to get better.

    I hope you cough clears up soon .

    I really think i have what you have
    I havea cold for nearly 4 weeks, i have had 2 different antiiotics, and they relieved the sore throat and blocked nose, but im still left with this awful cough.
    Mind you, the cough has relieved quiet a bit, but its still there. An anoying husky cough.

    Have you been tested for whopping cough? There was a bout of it going around NSW in January/February and may still be making the rounds - don't mean to scare you - I am not sure how it affects pg but my friend got whooping cough in January when she was 34 weeks pg and her bubs is all good and so is she
