Finally my bump is starting to show!! It's very exciting, although I feel a bit self-conscious at work like everyone is looking at it, although it's not huge and in the tops I wear to work which are naturally fairly loose anyway I don't think it would be that noticeable anyway, and there are quite a few pregnant women in our office at the moment who are further along than I am, but I haven't told anyone except my immediate co-workers and my supervisor, so I guess I feel a bit weird about it... But if I put on just normal everyday "around the house" clothes, yep you can tell I have a bump!

I don't really have a bump either. My normal jeans/ work pants are uncomfortable and don't do up anymore but because I was fairly thin to begin with, I just look like my belly sticks out a little bit. A lot of people have that naturally, so to strangers I don't look pregnant.

One person (who knew how I looked before I was pregnant) noticed my belly and figured it out, but to most pople it is not obvious yet. I figure that the longer it stays small, the longer I can keep cycling, so I am taking it as a positive.

I've only really popped in the last week and I'm almost 20 weeks. Before that it was more of a 'beer belly' or what looked like too much Christmas cheer!! And as I've always had a relatively flat tummy, I noticed tops more than pants fit me too snugly initially or they just weren't long enough! It does depend on what I wear & how I'm sitting/standing as to how obvious, but I have noticed a few enquiring looks from people too polite to ask, particularly in the last week!

This is my first as well, and everyone keeps telling me you usually show later with your first.

    Enjoy this time everyone!
    Baby belly's are beautiful!

Debbee, I'm a bit the same (welcome to BB too!), I can see my tummy poking out through my "weekend" clothes, and a tiny bit with my work clothes, must be enough for some people to notice though as I've had a couple of people recently ask me if I am pg (kinda glad I can say "yes", otherwise I think I would be a bit offended! They haven't exactly said I'm fat..but yeah...I'm sure ykwim).
But, apart from the little bump I have now, I don't seem to be growing anymore, although I have a couple of skirts I wear to work that I can't really fit into now because the zip only does up halfway or not really at all, I'm still wearing my normal clothes- tops and pants/skirts to work, and my bump doesn't seem to be getting any bigger! I love my little bump and am almost willing it to start growing some more! But I'm starting to wonder if it's going to....

I'm annoyed cause i was overweight to begin with, and even though i'm sure i'm showing a bit, i think i'm carrying a bit low so it looks a bit like a fat gut.
    Lucky me, lol

    Hiya,

I'm 14 weeks and look like I did when I was 5 months during my last pregnancies, I feel huge. I'm a size 10 so I guess any extra weight that I put on shows but people have been commenting since I was 12 weeks. I guess my tummy muscles arn't as good as they were 11 and 8 years ago surprise surprise.

    Cheers Missy

Leesa & MissBec - Ditto. I popped big time. If I had a dollar for every time someone has said "Could be twins".

No. There is absolutely no precident for twins. Baby just likes sitting really far forward when I am up and walking about. Soon as I lay down it sinks back in and the bump is reletively normal sized for how far along I am.
