3/5 - how much longer will i have to wait?

I had OB appt yesterday and apparently im 3/5???
From everyone else's experince for a first time mum - how long might i have to wait until labour starts? im getting rather impatient - hehehe

Sorry but you can't tell anything from that. I was 3/5 for a few weeks before giving birth. I gave birth at 38w4d.

Satya - i think i was still 3/5 last week also - im past 38wks 4days like u were so lets hope its going to be soon!

HJ I was 3/5 from just over 37 weeks and as of yesterday I'm now 1/5 and still waiting for something to happen.

I think it's just a wait and see game from here, good luck hopefully something will happen soon.

AmandaJ - i think i have been 3/5 for 2wks now - the same as u so hopefully something will happen soon! i dont play the waiting game very well!

Not sure hope it's very soon for you & me haha......my bub was 3/5 about 3 weeks ago then last week was 4/5 and still this morning 4/5 damn it !!!!!!! Hoping your bub continues the path downwards & doesn't do what mine did and come back up a bit !

Anna - Hello!!!!!! how have u been???? u dont have long too go either! mine sure has been a loooooong pregnancy with a few hic-cups along the way so i cant wait for it too be over! Hopefully Peanuts will be here before the end of the week!

I've tried to think about this a little more. Not having my book anymore I can't be sure of this, but I am pretty sure that I was only 3/5 on the Thursday of my last appointment & I went into labour on the Sunday, gave birth on the Monday. Apparently it's quite common not to get fully engaged until labour starts.

Thanks Satya - i read somewhere that labour can start once u are 3/5 or 2/5 engaged - so here's hoping i wont have too long too wait - but being my first i bet i do!
