have you had a big drink of cold water or juice? try that and relax on the sofa for a bit and see if the movements pick up. if DD2 went quiet on me, id have a big drink and poke her till she woke up...poor child.'

if that doesnt work dont be afraid to call the birth suit your booked into and see if you can pop in for a scan etc, they are normally more than happy to see you in there!!

they do move around less at the end i think, as they get bigger, i think they say 10 movements in 12 hours...but if your even the slightest bit worried get checked out!

The movement of the car could have soothed bub to sleep.

I went for monitoring a few times in the last few weeks because bub had slowed down. I felt a bit silly, but so reassured that everything was ok. Don't hesitate to get it checked if you are concerned. Fizzy drink (like coke) can sometimes get them moving.

hello, it's challenging feeling worried at the end of the pregnancy. I would do as Beckoes suggested, cold water and see if that wakes bubba up a bit. And be sure to call someone even if it is to reassure you and make you feel more confident, and if this doesn't happen with the first call, keep calling until you feel secure. THis part of the pregnancy you start facing a few fears and it is important that you feel supported by your partner and your birthing team to meet these fears to prepare you to birth your baby and feel safe about it. Go well today.
