    Default 5 things you can't now do

    Okay i was thinking last night of a list of things i can not now do or have trouble doing.



    I thought i would see what everyone else was having toruble with.

    1, Shave legs without cutting them.
    2, Cut toe nails
    3, Put shoes and socks on
    4, Get up from sofa (trouble doing)
    5, Stand to long when cooking or washing up.

    5 things I can't do now........hmmmm..

    1. Sleep through the night without getting up for a wee!
    2. Watch a soppy show/advert/movie/ without using up an entire box of tissues
    3. See my bikini line properly to shave!
    4. Remember my kids names!!!! #-o (They think it's hilarious!)
    5. Have sex. Poor me, poor DH, but neither of us want to risk setting off the bleeding again.

    1. Empty the bottom rack of the dishwasher
    2. Check under the kids beds
    3. Swim breaststroke
    4. Pick up my children for hugs (have to sit down first)
    5. Wear heels!

    I'm only in my fourth month, but I can already feel the loosening of the ligaments around the hip joints. I'm having to be extra-careful not to put any stress on them, after the last baby I couldn't walk properly - between my hips and my back, I had to use a wheelchair to do the shopping for six months!

    #1 - Roll from my left side to right and vice versa in bed in just one go, takes at least 5 turns to do it.
    #2 - Impossible to sleep through the night without getting up at least twice to the toilet or little boy wakes me kicking or when I turn over or when I get so hot I have to sleep on top of the sheets etc.
    #3 - I just can`t see under my bump so no way can I see down there to shave my bikin line etc.
    #4 - Can`t get straight up from the bean bag or floor have to either roll over onto all fours and get up that way or DH pulls me up.
    #5 - Having major problems getting down on my hands and kness to clean the floor and to bend to pick things up from the floor - wish I didn`t have to do it but since no one else will do it I force myself and suffer later.

    The list could go on LOL!!

    Hmmm only 5 things huh!..........

    1.Get through the day without getting emotional over something

    2.Sleep through the night as getting up to pee and just turning over are sooo hard now and I can't even attempt to sleep on my back as I won't be able to walk in the morning

    3.Walk properly as my hips are killing me

    4.hehe shave my legs without cutting them atleast 6 times per leg(glad I'm not the only one tatty teddy!)

    5.Stand for to long or walk for to long without getting a little breathless

    1. Get drunk (so missing that badly lately)
    2. Pop pills when i feel like it (meaning pain killers not illegal stuff
    3. Going out and socialising with drinking (seems i miss drinking still
    4. Sleeping with pillows everywhere for comfort!
    5. High heels also (miss them but my back doesnt)

    hrm 5 things i cant do now

    1.. walk down to the front gate
    2.. sleep through the night because im either too hot or need to pee, can only sleep under one blanket, oh and turning from my right to my left, hurts like mad!
    3.. have a social drink of alocohol
    4.. shave my legs
    5.. use my coldsore cream!!!!!!

    Hmm, I so agree with you all. My top 5 would have to be...

    1. Sleep (it's currently 12.36am and I'm wide awake. I think I'm overtired but can't get to sleep)
    2. Wear heels. It's been said by others, but I'm an Imelda and miss my shoe collection *sigh*
    3. Do karate. I haven't been allowed to do my karate classes and gradings since I was about 9 weeks due firstly to my tiredness and then to the fact I was liability. I so miss it when I take my DD to her lessons. My Sensei (instructor) still has to give me stern looks to keep me off the mats!
    4. Run up the stairs at work (my boss went up the stairs at the same time as me on Friday and he got to the kitchen, filled up the kettle and put it on by the time he was back, meeting me at the top of the stairs.) Grrr!
    5. Run around and play with my DD like I used to.
    6. Take my hay fever tablets.
    7. Cuddle my DD properly... my lap aint what it used to be.

    Hmm, that's 7. Guess I better stop!

    LOL this is great,

    I'm not preg at the moment, but these things are so true.
    Rolling over in bed, that was a killer for me with both my pregs and the sore hips, that was so bad for me as I also have ross river which really messed with my hips anyway!

    1. Run and do agility with my dogs.
    2. Get dressed normally, I have to now put my socks on while sitting and putting on undies is a challenge.
    3. Sleep through the night, Get up every 2 hours to go to the toilet and get a drink of water.
    4. Go for a walk without pain
    5. Have my cat on my knee, poor cat.

    I'm sure the list will get bigger as I move on from 27 weeks.....

    LMAO @ your cat sitting on your belly, Shanon. My cat and dog (Foxy/Jack Russell x) as separate times both try sit on top of my belly. My baby doesn't react like yours, I just get sick of the extra weight, and push them lower towards my legs.

    My 5 are...
    Getting up the work stairs!!!!
    Not getting a full nights deep sleep, either from peeing or not being comfortable...
    My boobs are in the way of everything, so cannot see anything past my chest unless I see it in the mirror! Which includes the bikini line neatening up, man it must look pretty average!?
    Pick up my DD, she has to come to me if she has hurt herself or wants a big hug...
    I Feel unattractive in anything & my hair is so dead, frizzy & dry!

    My baby also kicked when the cat used to sit purring against my belly. Yesterday he sat in front of my legs when I was lying on the couch, I think he has worked it out now.
