    Also playing the waiting game

I think I'm experiencing pre-labour. Is anyone else going through the same thing right now?

Symptoms so far include increasing BH, period-like cramping which I haven't felt at all this entire pregnancy until now, lower back and upper thigh pain, pelvic pain from hell and yesterday, intense nausea. I never thought I'd get this excited from an up-chucked dinner

Earlier on in my pregnancy, I used to read about other women getting frustrated in their final weeks and I foolishly thought, 'hah! i will be an ocean of calmness and patience!'

Now entering week 39 and its all I can do not to mope about the house in my pjs sighing, feeling weepy and sorry for myself.

I took off from work early (36 weeks) because ppl kept telling me how huge I was and that the baby was probably going to come early. I don't regret going on leave because I am so sore right now, but the boredom of being home all the time is killing me. I'm annoying when I'm bored too, so poor DH is suffering along with me.

Can't sleep due to this pubis something-or-other pain (rolling over in bed requires hydraulics) . Can't fathom my peanut-sized bladder now that I've well and truly dropped. Can't stop feeling super hungry ALL day. The only thing that helps is a warm bath but lately instead of the bath calming me, I just feel like Jabba the Hutt sitting in a puddle of water.

    Hi Neuri,

i totally understand what you are going through. I am 37.5 weeks, just went on mat leave (@36.5weeks) and having a c/s on wednesday and playing the waiting game is a shocker. I give you a great big hug Try to look on the bright side, you're almost due. You've come this far, just another week or two and you'll have little bubs in arms and there will be no time to mope around!
All the symptoms you describe - nausea, upper thigh pain etc.. i experience too. All are pre-labour symptoms.
I wish you all the best. Take care. Just remember, not long to go now.

Sehra, good luck for the c.s! And yeah, I guess 2 more weeks is nothing in the scheme of things. At least I get to catch up on sleep now

BTW, the name you picked out is gorgeous.

Oh Neuri - I'm right there with you! I have the increasing BHs & the period pain - crazy how excited you get over some pain LOL. Now that I've completed my 'to do' list, I'm SO ready & starting to get impatient. And I'm eating SO much. If I have to stay pg another 4 weeks I swear I'll be the size of a HOUSE by the time this bub comes!

Ditto to all of the above. I'm afraid that it just comes with being pregnant.
