baby hardly moving -should i call hossy?

i'd call hun.. theres no harm in calling to see what the nurses say.

i had dp drive me to the hospital (30mins away) at 3am friday morning, beause i wasnt 'feeling right' they monitored bub for a while, and i was right to go. no one knows your body but you, so do what you need to to put your mind at ease.

I have heard but don't know if it's true or an old wives tale, that babies move less just before you go into labour.

Tinkerbell - my ob specifically tells his patients that this is an old wives tale and any reduction in movement should be monitored.

TM - Definitely call the hospital, they'll be happy you did.

Yes call it can't hurt and will make you feel better. Tuesday is too far away to feel anxious all that time!

hi all, ended up getting DP to take me to hossy, they put me on the CTG and gave me iced water, i knew it would happen that she started moving right away, lol stubborn baby!
they also said i am having mild contractions 5 mins apart (but i couldnt feel them) and the MW said probably go into labour tonite and she will make the night staff aware! but having said that im not getting my hopes up too much! she said we should try DTD

Yeah DTD then over night let it do its stuff and you might wake up with a surprise (well you wont be surprised but anyway). Id try get some rest as it could start very soon. You want to have plenty of energy. GL hope you have a fantastic labour and birth.

DS did exactly the same thing. Completely stopped moving. I went to the hos' and they checked his heart. He was just sleeping and they couldn't get him to wake up, but his heart beat was fine. He was born two days later. Must have been prepping himself for the big event.
