    Baby Hiccups...

Does anyone elses baby get the hiccups? MIne constantly gets them and I sit there in amazement at the jolting of my belly, it gets quite annoying though. I read once that it strengthens their lungs, if so, this bubba is going to have really really strong lungs

well someone told me they were hiccups. Kinda rythmic jolts almost like a strong slow heart beat lol. really different to their punches/kicks and stretches. I could be wrong but. My whole belly beats like a heart beat but slower.

Yep, this bub gets them constantly. Especially after I've eaten or had a warm drink. And yep, what you are describing is the hiccups

Little DD used to get them at least once a day in the womb and still gets them now, at 4 months old, when she is overly excited haha

Yeah my baby gets the hiccups at least once or twice a day. A midwife told me its because the baby swallows too much amniotic fluid but Im not 100%.
I agree it can be a little annoying but it usually makes me giggle. I wonder if he gets annoyed with them like I do when I get the them

It is too cute, just sometimes when you trying to sleep and because I (well bubs) get them at least a couple times a day, when I'm really tired it gets frustrating I imagine it's just preparing my patience as I described it to DH as someone just sitting there poking you in constantly except you can't get up and walk away Truely is amazing though.

My bub gets them at bedtime too, it's so weird! She actually has them now as I type this, I just finished eating a cheese and spinach roll from the bakery and it's set her off LOL!

Yep here too! My DS got them as well. The other day I was having a scan in the OB's rooms and bubs was having hiccups. Very funny to see them happening on screen!

I have heard it helps prepare the diaphram and lungs too.

Just feels like a slow heartbeat to me too, feels weird now she's getting lower though, I can feel each one through my groin and it makes me need to pee lol.

Yeah I think mine's had the hiccups too, just every so often though. I wasn't sure what it was but guessed it was hiccups because it was so rhythmic!!

cute isn't it. All mine have hiccups like crazy in the last 10weeks. this one however has hiccups so head moves and then its feet or butt moves its like a 1-2-1-2 pattern going on constantly for a few minutes. its a great way to figure without prodding how low bub is

I've been getting them regularly (heard them when I popped into the ER on Friday night), but not feeling them - until Sunday night! It was the most amazing feeling But I do agree, along with all the other movement, it does get a little annoying after a while
