I know with Chelsea the 2 days prior to her birth she 'stopped' moving...so was monitored and she was actually moving but only small amounts.
Midwifes told me they slow down in prep for birth and build up their energy....LOL.
Hi there,
My bubs is still moving around heaps, and many people are telling me that this means she is comfy and not coming out anytime soon, cause the movements slow down prior to labour starting.
Has anyone experienced this? Or is just another old wives tale?

That wasn't the case with me.....Harry was moving right up till the labour and during...
I was the same as Claire and told the same as you Kellie. DD2 moved around the whole way to the hospital!
HEAPS of movement here too hun - although I was induced!!She kicked all through labour too just to add to my joy and comfort
! Good luck, not long til you are holding your little one!
No one is the same at all. Everyone seems to forget this.
Your baby may just keep dancing on your liver until she pops her head out.
Wouldn't uniformity be nice?????
Kellie - I hope this isn't true, i'm 3 days over and baby Ro is still very active![]()
My obs says this is an old wives tale and can be a dangerous one. He's said if I notice a significant decrease in movement I'm to go to the delivery suite that night for monitoring.
Heaps of movement from bubs before and during labour here![]()
