Argh this drives me mad it really does.

Some babies in first time mothers can engage early.... and some engage during labour. I think if a baby is not engaged, it means it's not ready, or not in position yet.

I know plenty of first time mums who didn't have an engaged baby until labour. They had babies fine, even homebirths! I think she should ignore the scaremongering and let her baby have a chance, at least until 42 weeks which is classed the end of full term.
