I didn't have a sizing scan. My ob felt around and predicted "a good-sized baby" between 8 and 9lbs and to buy 000 clothes. She was 8lbs 10oz. He doesn't need scans. Oh, and to be honest, I didn't even realise that weight was big - she was on the 90th percentile. Ignorance is bliss.
