    Unhappy Bad Indigestion

Can anybody give me any advice on how to avoid indigestion every time I put a piece of food in my mouth?? For the past few days I have suffered terribly with it. I've tried Gavascon, Quik Ease & milk before eating. Are there any foods I should be avoiding?

I understand your pain! Everything I ate gave me indigestion.

I used Rennie too! And also Mylanta. The tablets though, not the liquid.

I found I had to avoid certain foods.. banana gave me shocking indigestion, nutella as well, and sometimes bread. Anything with tomato and obvioulsy, anything acidic. Most things I ate were an issue but I had to eat so I just ate things and then had some milk and a rennie/mylanta and some water. Thats all I can remember for now.

Hope you can find something that worked.

Zantac have tablets you swallow with water which are apparently safe to take and they last for 24 hours. I take one before dinner if I'm going to be eating anything spicy or stodgy and they really do stop the indegestion!
