bath bombs are ok yeh?

I'd be surprised if a bath bomb had pure essential oil in it, because wouldn't that keep the bath bomb moist instead of dry and powdery? Good question though.
I also imagine that in a bath, the small amount of essential oil that might be in a bath bomb would end up being extremely diluted, as opposed to a few drops of oil mixed with massage oil.

You're probably right Nelle just thought it was worth raising. I wasn't too sure what it was in massage oils that had to be avoided ie the oil or the essence.

With oils, I think I've read oils in burners are fine, it's on the skin where topical application is more potent that the issue may be. So I guess intensity is the issue...
I'm a bit blase though, so probably not the best person to ask, I realised I used a shampoo with clary-sage in it all through my first pregnancy...

Double yes on this. The amount of any "oils" or similar would be next to nothing, if not nothing. It's when you start applying specific oils directly onto your skin is when you start to have problems.

There is so much water in the bath, so go ahead! I couldn't live without mine.

I always thought the smell of some oils (diluted or otherwise) were dangerous and thats why they weren't recommended because of the effect they have on the body/brain ??

I have heard of a friend who used Clary Sage in a bath leading up to the birth of her DS2 and it made her feel drunk

I have no idea about bath bombs but if its smell orientated I would avoid using anything and just opt for a nice bubble bath.
