    Unhappy Being admitted to hospital...

Well I have had a very stressful week this week.

It all started Tuesday when I went in to hospital about an unknown rash, which they then decided to scare me and say that its measles!! To come back to me yesterday arvo and say no its not measles but we dont know what it is. Go back to hospital today to get checked over again and ofcourse BP was through the roof - hopefully this is only because of my stressful week and in hospital they will see that everything is ok and its not PE.

Hopefully they are not going to want to deliver this baby straight away cause I dont even have a baby bag ready, I dont even have my hospital bag or labour bag ready!! I was planning to do that this week but have been unable to get to the shops to buy anything. But I doubt they will, just me stressing...

So please pray that my BP will go back down and I get to come home tonight!!

awwww Veronica I hope that your bp settles for you , try not to stress yourself out more though hun, your hossy bags etc can be taken care of by someone else if it comes to that, I think that you will just have to have some monitoring and some rest by the sounds of things, you poor thing what a horrible week for you,

we are due at the same time and I am the same as you I dont have a hossy bag or anything ready I havent even brought half the stuff I need yet LOL

my best advice is for you to relax I think you really need to.

Take care hun will be thinking of you

Just remember to relax and be calm, and let everyone else do everything else for you.

I hope everything is ok Ngala, you'll be home before you know it.

    Thinking of you.

awww you poor thing, i hope you are okay and your BP settles back down soon... my sister just gave birth 2 weeks ago, and about 2 weeks prior to going into labour she ended up in hospital with a rash too! and she too had high BP... docs thought it was Pre Eclampsia but it wasn't in the end... i was watching foxtel the other night on home&health channel and a doctor on there was saying how it's quite common for women to get a rash (can't remember why)....good luck

Hey Veronica, I really hope things settle down for you. I spent a couple of afternoons having my high BP monitored in hossy too - its actually great to sit down and be forced to do absolutely nothing, LOL, but I know it's scary. For me, everything was fine and my baby ended up being a week late! But I do hope that you're well and you can continue to grow that gorgeous little girl of yours a wee bit longer.
All the best, and take care of yourself.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your thoughts!! I had to stay the night in hospital and didnt get much sleep so cant wait to cuddle up in my own bed!!

BP definitely behaved itself. It went from 160/100 yesterday morning to about 130/80 or somewhere around there. I put the high BP down to stress!! So I just have to take it easy now and go in on Tues for another check and hopefully not back in to the hospital.
