    Talking Bladder? What bladder?

No question or worry today - I'm just marvelling at what these bubs do to our bodies!

I think I've lost my bladder - in it's place there must be some kind of 'tubing', but nothing there that stores any amount of fluid. A trip to the toilet, after feeling like I'm absolutely busting, results in a couple of drips, and I find myself thinking "Well, what was the point of that?"!!!

    Ah, the joys of pregnancy!

I remember that well! And even after my few "drips", I'd walk away from the toilet feeling like I could go again LOL!

Oh well, not long to go for you now

LOL I am exactly the same!

Every time I stand up after sitting down for any period of time (even a minute) I feel like I urgently have to go to the toilet!

    Ahh, the joys...

I know what you mean Sterla!

Just wish I knew where it was all being stored or when it would be back to normal!

I hate when bubs kicks at your bladder and you get that shooting sensation like your about to wet yourself, go to toilet and yep just a small amount, worse when it happens at night!

Yep, I have that - where I go and then feel the need to go again straight away!

Oh, the worst at night is when you're lying down and feel like you don't need to go, or only need to go a little - then get out of bed and stand up and all of a sudden have the overwhelming need to go right now!!! I guess there's more room when you're lying down, then when you stand up gravity and bub take over!!!

    I hate that.

I always go to the loo just before going to bed, and I'll be lying there quietly dozing off and half an hour later I'm absolutely BUSTING to go again. It's really irritating because then by the time I'm back in bed I'm wide awake and then I have to shout at someone.

What I'm finding is that I'm retaining a lot of fluid during the day, and then at night my body gets rid of it all so I'm constantly peeing all night, every hour or so.

Oh, and that bit where you wake up and you are so full it hurts and then you stand up and the baby lands on it and when you've untangled your hair from the light fittings, and make it to the toilet and sit there.... you can't go. You are so full you can't let go. And then it huuuuurts.

    Happy days

The worst is when you are the shops. You finally make your way to the public toilets....do your teeny weeny wee that made you feel like you were going to explode...go back to shopping...and then 5 minutes later feel like you need to find that public toilet again!

I don't know how it is in other states, but in Victoria I don't believe it is against the law to pee wherever you want to outside if you are pregnant.

    Just FYI
