EPO.. how many do I insert?

    Hey

I have been taking EPO since about 34 weeks and Im going to start inserting them tonight. How many do I insert? They are 1000mg tablets and I take 2 orally a day.

Exactly what PZ said. Wear a pantyliner, it can get messy.

Sorry to hi jack you thread. But I was wondering when it is OK to start taking EPO, for some reason I thought 36 weeks, but by the sounds of it 34 weeks is ok. Is that right?

Inserting is wayyyy more effective as it directly softens the cervix. It's really not too bad, I'd highly recommend it. My labour was amazingly efficient and I attribute some of that to RLT and EPO.

So PZ from what weeks gestation do you recommend taking them?

Haha man it wasn't that long ago and I can't even remember! I'm pretty sure I took two orally from 34 weeks and then added the two inserted from 36 or 37.

In the hour of established labour between my waters breaking and being checked, I went to 6cms
