Blood and Cramping after Intercourse

Hi All,

OK so all throughout my pregnancy i have had a few bleeds after DTD (always been checked out and had the all clear) I was told if it is pink its normally ok its bright red blood you need to report straight away.

So anyway im 38 weeks preggy now and me and DH decided to DTD last night for my birthday and I had pink blood for a while after which has subsided. Only thing is after DTD I started getting cramps which were quite painful and lasted about 5 hours or so it was lower abdo and lower back with some pressure on the rectum area.. I didnt ring the hosp because even though they were painful they were all over the place and didnt intensify just stayed the same. I dont have pink anymore nor do I have the cramping/contractions. I know I should have rang the hospital to check etc I dont know why i didnt - Im just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I haven't and i would get it checked hun.....as far as i knew any bleeding had to be checked?? GL and i hope you go into labour soon!!! xxx

Semen is a great cervix softener, apparently. So maybe your body is just getting ready to do its thing! But check with your midwife or ob if you are at all concerned.
