'bloody show'

how long after your 'bloody show' did you go into labour?
I had one today and i have never had one before.

I may be wrong but I thought your bloody show happened during labour, at least mine did. I had a huge show just before my OB did an internal and found I was 9cm (there was A LOT of blood). You can lose your mucous plug earlier so maybe it was that which means your body is preparing for labour but it's anyone guess as to when it will start.

With #2 i lost mine and went into labour around 12 hours later. That's the only time i've lost it before labour/waters breaking.

Didn't lose mine til I arrived at hosp, so about 4hrs after labour started.

Since wednesday I have had three bloody shows, with this i mean i had mucas with blood streaks through it and I have been having period pain all this time as well. I have been told I could still go a few more weeks anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goodluck

I went into labour about 8 hours after I had my bloody show.

i had mine 2 days b4 i went into active labour.

DD1 was only within 2hrs of birth.. DD2 i don't remember actually having one, possibly in the shower about 45min - hr before birth.
Everyone is different unfortunately, some people can get it days or even a week before bubs, others don't.

I was in labour both times. Only early stages of labout the first time, but was having definate contrations.

i had mine on the Friday morning and went into labour the Sunday morning...good luck, not long for you i hope!!!

Well i had it 11am thursday and im still waiting! Grrr!! DH DTD and all that stuff today, i hope i go soon. Been having a few pains this afternoon, not getting my hopes up yet though! I have felt really good all day today very energetic, so i hope its soon.

They say it can be up to 2 weeks, but i often hear that it happens within a few days so heaps and heaps of good luck to u!!! xoxo

Still Pregnant Antheia, Unfortunately!! Having huge back aches etc lately, a fair few BH but not getting my hopes up! Looking forward to the 8th, BUT i have a feeling i will go over. You will have your bubs before me!!
