I agree! Get some rest. Enjoy your sleep as much as possible.
I know when I was in labour I was just over it at one stage and told my hubby I was gonna have a sleep as the contractions stopped when I layed down. Aboout 1/2 hr into my 'rest' my water broke!
Thankfully Anelise was born just over an hour later.

Oh Lisa - that sounds ideal! 1 hour after waters breaking. I'll cross my fingers

Ali - nadda. Prelabour is teasing me.

From next week if this little miss hasn't made an appearance it's off to JHH every couple of days at what they call Day Stay for monitoring.

I am trying my hardest to get this little miss out - but she seems to like it in there.

Good news is she went from 3/5 to 4/5 this week - being second bub I can only imagine that's a good promising thing. She's also positioned LOA - which couldn't be more ideal......so gotta wonder what's keeping her!

Certainly sounds like she's locked and loaded - your body and bub are working together perfectly so far! How exciting. Enjoy the wait - I am! (she says through ever so slightly gritted teeth )

Lisa - LOL - I personally think she was waiting for my overbearing mother to leave - which happened yesterday (check out thread in the Platinum Area for more details)

I was only joking with my midwife on Saturday that she's probably hearing my mother on the outside and thinking to herself "bugger that, I'll leave when she does"

Ali - I'm trying - but the wait is getting a bit much.....I am miss impatience didn't you know? How dare my DD not read the baby books that say when the 2nd + child is supposed to engage just before birth. Clearly she ignored this when I read it.

You know, it is probably true.
My overbearing ex MIL was staying with me and my Ex when DD1 was due. She kept trying to get me to take castor oil to get the baby out while she was there... I couldn't think of anything worse than having her there while I was in labour or even when I came home with bub.
Anyway, she left on Tuesday and I had DD1 on the Thursday. My MIL wasn't impressed! lol
