    Boredom ideas........

Alright girls lets through some ideas around.
With 2 weeks until my EDD i am going a little stir crazy.
Sick of listening to the weird feeling in my body and counting BH etc etc.
We need something to keep our minds off trying to go into labour...

    suggestions anyone?

I'm doing some sewing - making some wraps, bunny rugs, and pj's (saving money and keeping me occupied). Also making meals to freeze ready for coming home. Reading a book on breastfeeding. Planting some seedlings in the garden. Thinking about the snow and how I want to be skiing!!!

I'm not on maternity leave yet but spent Mon-Weds here at home on sick leave. Turned into knitting junkie! And I haven't knit anything for about 25 years. So in last three days have knitted a baby beanie and have started on a blanket.

Now find myself looking at people's woollies on TV and thinking "ooh, I wonder how you'd knit that?"

Freezing meals is a fantastic idea which I'll be taking up plus I'll spend the time looking up lots of healthy no-fuss recipes for after the baby's born.

I would suggest scrapbooking...and any final touches you want to do. Maybe go to the movies or just watch some DVD's...especially ones you love and have already seen!

Go to SPOTLIGHT and check out the craft section, and see if any ideas take your fancy!

And also when really bored....WINDOW SHOP!

Oh girls all these ideas sound great.

I actually went to the library to get 'how to knit books' and got overwhelmed by the little codes and things and gave up lol - might give it another go cause would love to make little ponchos and things for winter and beanies (how cute).

Jacqui... would love to pop into spotlight or go to the movies but unfortunately i live rural and we dont have that luxury... i have convinced DH to take me to the nearest cinema to see pirates on the weekend though (300km round trip for a movie hehe) and yes i will take my hospital bag just in case! hehe.

Going to go shopping today and maybe paint some canvases for the babies room... that will keep me busy for an afternoon!
