I'm starting to stress out slightly, at my last obs appointment yesterday bubby was in a breech position, I'm pretty sure that it's been in the same position since about 28 weeks. He's telling me not to worry about it yet, and that he'll do an ultrasound at 36 weeks to see if it's head down and engaged and that only 2-3% of babies are still breech at term. I guess my main concern in that ds had severe hip dysplasia and he wasn't a breech baby, and I keep thinking that may the baby can't turn if it has hip dysplasia, plus it's more likely to have it if is breech. Does that make any sense? I'm also slighltly concerned it has engaged, it seems to be sitting really low down (the bottom of the bump seems to be resting on the pubic bone) and the last couple of days I've had stabbing like pains low down. My ob said that they would try turning it if it hadn't by 36 weeks, but in the mean time is there any point in trying to get baby to move?
