There's still plenty of time for Bubs to get themselves organised into the right position - there's a Spinning Babies website that has some good info too, might help put your mind at ease a bit.
My bub is also tranverse atm, and has been for the last 4 weeks or so, my Ob said bub looks comfortable transverse but assured me not to worry and that there's enough time to turn and most likely will. I've started doing some of the positioning exercises but I'm trying not to let it worry me just yet! I will be relieved though when I'm told bub is head down, but then I also know that could change just as quickly too!
Thank you ladies for your re assurance! I'm not as worried now as it looks like there is plenty of time for bub to turn. I've been talking to him today, gently persuading him to turn, ha ha. I know he's comfy right now and I'm sure he'll change the possie closer to my 38 week cs date.
hi, there is time for him to turn but you could try seeing a chiro who is experienced in the Webster technique to enable him to move. I was in the same position at 33 wks, saw my chiro (who has done it on me in both previous pregnancies) and within a day bubs had moved to a better position.
Not only did I feel a LOT more comfortable but I was also aware that in the case of a c-section, transverse lie may be difficult for the surgeon and may affect the incision created. i can PM you the details of my chiro if you're interested.
Hi RoyaUK, that would be great if you could PM me your chiro's details. My OB did say it will be trickier to do the cs if he is still in the same position. I see an osteopath regularly but I'm not sure if she can help....
I am 37weeks now and at 31 weeks Bubs was in transverse position WHICH worried me, but by 34 (?) weeks (that was when I had OB appointment) Bubs was head down and has been engaged now since 35 weeks and hasnt moved.
