Okay so i still have 10 days to go, im currently 38 weeks 4 days, and im just so over it. I just want bubba already. I wake up every day and hope todays the day, even though i still have 10 days to go. I dont look like ive dropped, i havent had any cramps or braxton hicks that i know of. I just dunno when bub will come. Im hoping for some signs of labour, but nothing.
Ive been quiet tired lately, could this be a sign???
im going to be the bearer of bad news the average length of a first pg is 41+2.
yes you may go early but i would aim for longer simply so you dont get so upset when you get to you ESTIMATED due date with no sign of baby still.
Bubs will come when its ready enjoy your last few weeks as just you and DP as you never go back to that.
I know all too well how over it you can be! All of my pregnancies went 'over' - seems my babies just like to cook a bit longer.
Bub will come when he/she is ready, could be hours, could be weeks yet ( it's not!)
But time passes very quickly really...you are at the longest stage of any pregnancy ....and yet honestly, trust me, in 6 weeks time you will look back & ask yourself where did the time go!
Like Doudou said...try to enjoy the last few days...go see a movie, or something you will find harder after bub gets here...make the most of it casue he/she will be here before you know it
nawww hun, being overdue sucks big time, but like dou dou said, u may have to wait a lil while longer, but thats all good, babies choose when theyre ready to come, even if mum wants them here now!!
for what its worth, i was 11 days over with my first and i had absolutely no signs of labour, no pre labour no braxtons no nothing, until the big day.
my tips, sit back, relax, prepare ur body for the marathon its about to endure, fix up loose ends and just RELAX!!!!!!!!! trust me, there'll come a point where u have to seriously think about when the last time u had U time was!
Best of luck hunny

Oooo I remember feeling like this! I actually got really quite depressed in the final couple of weeks. My OB was talking about inducing me when I was only a few days over due just because so I really really down, luckily out of the blue, I naturally went into labour at 40+2 and had DD that night. It does creep up on you and is definately worth the wait!!!
It is so exciting and really hard to be patient, but bubby will be here really soon. Just think every extra day bubby spends on the inside he/she is getting so much stronger and getting ready to meet you.
i guess your right, lol. Im just so keen to hold bubba in my arms
I get so bored at home, during the day, and cant wait to have someone to look after and fill my day.
Heres hoping bubbie comes soon, but the main thing is, that he/she is healthy and safe
It is unlikely you will go early so sorry to burst your bubble.
What you are feeling is perfectly normal in my opinion. I was so over both pregnancies by 36 weeks. Both mine went at least 9 days over EDD.
Being tired is probably just a symptom of being in late pregnancy. Nothing to do with impending labour. I did not drop with either pregnancy until I was in labour and never had any braxton hicks. The first labour was induced as DS1 was showing no interest in leaving his comfy spot. The first indication of my labour with DS2 was a mild contractions the day before I gave birth which were regular but reasonably faint. I was able to sleep fairly well through the night, waking up a couple of times with the contractions but not enough to be concerned and next morning at breakfast had the first major one.
Have you started nesting? I have been told (though it did not happen to me) that when you start nesting, labour is not far off.
