i guess your right, lol. Im just so keen to hold bubba in my arms
I get so bored at home, during the day, and cant wait to have someone to look after and fill my day.

Heres hoping bubbie comes soon, but the main thing is, that he/she is healthy and safe

My OB made me promise never to try castor oil - it just makes you sick and doesn't really do any good anyway.

You are better off with other treatments that have been known to work, acupuncture, accupressure, raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil, bumpy roads, spicy foods - lots of sex! Those things can help - castor oil - not so much!

Although, I don't think you will get an acupuncturist or anyone to help you until you have actually reached your due date

    - Everything Arimeh just said

I wouldn't try the castor oil. I don't know that it's entirely safe, and the effectiveness of it is questionable. It was also the one thing the hossie docs told me not to try.

I won't repeat everything Mel listed! - but all of them are worth a go - I was also told pineapple & I tried that too

Walking is probably the best thing to do. The pressure of bub on your cervix / pelvic area when you are up & moving can help a lot. Also it helps a lot with labour IMHO.

Acupuncture - my acupuncturist wouldn't do anything for me until I hit 40 weeks. I had sessions at 40 weeks, 40 + 5 & 41 weeks from rough memory, and went into labour at 41+3

Also little mental tricks can help - I used to go, Ok, I know she will definitely be here by such-&-such a date - made it a bit easier to focus on when I knew she would be here for sure.
It's really a matter of days now! less than a month hang in there

i tried the sex this arvo, but im not sure if its meant to help straight away or maybe, if it helps at all, it might happen in 24-48 hours or so

My sister said sex helped with 3 out of 4 of her kids

and my friend said castor oil helped with 2 out of 5 of her kids

    lol
