Can braxton hicks be detected on a fetal monitor?

Just wondering if braxton hicks are strong enough to be detected on a fetal monitor?

Once I went to the hossy with false labour......
The machine did pick up the braxton hicks, but they were barely marks on the paper thing from the machine...... but they were quite painful ones, it was my 4th and i could of sworn I was in labour...... But no, just braxton hicks....

lol, yeh, im just wondering if i may be experiencing them at the moment. I dont think ive had any as of yet, and im not too sure exactly what they feel like, whether theyre higher or lower, as the pains im experiencing are higher near my stomach. Im just wondering if i do go in and see a midwife, whether they can tell me what these pains are.

Have a lie down.... if the pains drift off... braxton hicks... if they stay the same, or intensify, early labour.......
Your middie will be able to tell you and ease your mind too babe....
